Day 1 Arrival in Leh (3,500m)
Arrive at Leh Airport and transfer to your hotel for rest and acclimatization. Spend the afternoon exploring the charming Leh Market, where local handicrafts, pashmina shawls, and traditional souvenirs await. Visit the Shanti Stupa, perched on a hilltop, offering panoramic views of Leh town and the surrounding mountains—perfect for sunset photography. Overnight stay in Leh.
Day 2 Leh → Alchi → Likir → Lamayuru – Leh (160 km / 6–7 hrs, 3,500–4,200m)
Depart Leh early for a scenic drive through the Indus Valley, stopping at Alchi Monastery, famous for its 11th-century murals. Continue to Likir Monastery, set against snow-capped peaks, and witness the serene 24-meter Buddha statue. End the day at Lamayuru, known as the “Moonland” for its otherworldly landscape of eroded cliffs. Enjoy a sunset walk among the lunar-like rock formations. Overnight stay in Lamayuru.
Day 3 Leh → Pangong Lake (150 km / 6 hrs, 4,350m)
After breakfast, drive through high mountain passes with stunning views of the Himalayan ranges to reach Pangong Lake, a shimmering saltwater lake stretching into Tibet. Capture the changing colors of the lake during sunset—a photographer’s paradise. Evening at leisure by the lakeside, enjoying the tranquil atmosphere. Overnight stay near Pangong Lake.
Day 4 Pangong Lake → Leh (150 km / 5–6 hrs)
Return to Leh, driving along scenic valleys and riverbeds. Stop for photographs and short walks along the way. On arrival, enjoy local sightseeing or shopping before your departure. This marks the end of your 4-day Ladakh adventure, filled with cultural exploration and high-altitude landscapes.
Day 5 Leh & Departure
Wake up to the sunrise at Pangong Lake and drive 225 km back to Leh via Chang La Pass. Transfer to Leh Airport for your onward journey, carrying unforgettable memories of Ladakh’s culture and landscapes.
