Guide The Himalaya is a travel company in Ladakh, founded by Skalzang Rigzin. Skalzang is a well-known mountain guide with more than 30 years of experience in the Indian Himalayas. The company started in 2024 and is registered under Tourism of Ladakh as a Mountaineering Tour Operator (License TRM/MTO-28/2025) and as a Travel Agency (License TRM/TRL-875/24).

We do our best to give you honest and helpful service in the Himalayas. Guide The Himalaya offers climbing trips, trekking tours, ice climbing, and rock climbing in Ladakh and other parts of the Himalayan mountains. We welcome everyone — new trekkers and expert climbers — and make special trips that are safe, caring about local people, and respectful to nature.

Our team knows the Himalayas very well and is close to the mountain communities. Every trip is led by certified local guides who keep you safe and make your journey enjoyable and unforgettable.
