Day 1 Arrival in Leh (3,500m)
Arrive in Leh and transfer to the hotel for complete rest and acclimatization. In the evening, attend a team briefing and equipment check.
Day 2 Acclimatization Day in Leh
Spend the day acclimatizing with a light local sightseeing tour to places like Shey Palace and Thiksey Monastery. Finalize expedition preparations.
Day 3 Drive from Leh to Kargil (2,676m)
Enjoy a scenic 7–8 hour drive through the Indus Valley and over Fotu La to reach Kargil. Overnight stay at a hotel.
Day 4 Drive to Shafat Base Camp (3,900m)
Drive 5–6 hours through the Suru Valley to the roadhead, followed by a short trek to Shafat Base Camp, located below the glacier.
Day 5–6 Acclimatization and Rest at Base Camp
Spend two days at base camp acclimatizing, organizing gear, and going on short hikes and glacier walks to prepare for the climb.
Day 7 Trek to Advance Base Camp (4,400m)
Trek for 5–6 hours across glacier and moraine terrain to reach Advance Base Camp at the base of Mount Kun.
Day 8–9 Load Ferry and Set Up Camp 1 (5,200m)
Begin load ferries and set up Camp 1 using fixed ropes on snow and ice. Return to ABC or occupy Camp 1 depending on team condition.
Day 10–12 Move to Camp 1 and Set Up Camp 2 (6,100m)
Push further up the mountain to Camp 2, acclimatizing and using fixed lines over steep terrain.
Day 13–15 Establish Summit Camp and Prepare for Summit Push
Establish Camp 3 at around 6,500 meters. Wait for the ideal weather window and rest before the summit attempt.
Day 16 Summit Mount Kun (7,077m)
Begin the summit push early in the morning, climbing steep snow slopes and ridges. After reaching the summit, descend to Camp 2 or Camp 1.
Day 17–18 Descend to Base Camp
Safely descend to base camp over the next two days. Celebrate the successful expedition with your team.
Day 19 Trek to Roadhead and Drive to Kargil
Trek to the roadhead and drive back to Kargil for a hot shower, rest, and overnight stay.
Day 20 Drive from Kargil to Leh
Drive back to Leh through the beautiful mountain landscape. Evening at leisure for shopping or relaxing.
Day 21 Departure from Leh
Transfer to the airport for your onward journey.
